01When does the Errante Trading Marathon take place?
The Errante Trading Marathon runs from 5 October to 6 November 2026.
02How do I take part?
To take part, you need a real, verified Errante account. Go to Contests in the Trader menu and choose Errante Trading Marathon from the list of running contests. Your contest account, a Standard MT5 account, is opened for you automatically.
03What type of account do I need?
You take part through a dedicated Standard MetaTrader 5 contest account. It is created automatically once you register for the contest.
04What is the minimum deposit?
You need to deposit at least $50 into your dedicated contest account.
05What do I need to qualify for the rankings?
Make at least 3 trades on 3 different symbols, and reach a return of at least 20% on your account during the contest. Final rankings are based on the highest percentage return among eligible participants.
06Which markets can I trade?
All instruments available in the contest account are allowed, except cryptocurrencies and 24/7 symbols. Each trade must stay open for at least one minute.
07Can I enter with more than one account?
Yes. Each eligible client can enter with up to 5 accounts. However, if more than one of your accounts finishes among the winners, only your highest-ranked account is eligible for a prize.
08How are rankings calculated?
Rankings are based on each account's performance percentage:
Performance % = ((Current equity − Total deposits) ÷ Total deposits) × 100
If two participants have the same return, the one who reached it first ranks higher.
09Can I use an Expert Advisor (EA)?
Yes. Under the contest terms, Expert Advisors (EAs) are allowed.
10Can I withdraw my prize?
Yes. To unlock withdrawals from the prize bonus, winners ranked 1st to 5th must trade at least 3 lots, and winners ranked 6th to 10th at least 1 lot. Winners can convert and withdraw $20 of their trading bonus for every standard lot traded, provided each qualifying trade stays open for at least one minute.
11What is the maximum leverage?
The maximum leverage is 1:1000.
12Do all trades need to be closed before the contest ends?
No. Performance is measured with the profit ratio calculation, which includes floating equity.
13How are ties decided?
If two participants have the same percentage return, the one who reached it first ranks higher.
14Can participants share details or an IP address?
If a participant's registration details or trading data are identical to, or overlap with, those of other participants, including but not limited to IP address, Errante reserves the right to disqualify the participants concerned immediately.
15Can I withdraw profits made by trading with the prize bonus?
Yes, but when you make a withdrawal, the prize bonus is removed.
16Can I withdraw or transfer funds from my contest account during the contest?
Yes, you can request a withdrawal or transfer during the contest. However, once the withdrawal or transfer is processed, that trading account is disqualified from the contest and will no longer be ranked or be eligible for a prize.
